My name is Galadriel, I was born and raised in Santiago, my horoscope  sign is Pisces since my birthday is on the 6th of March, and nowadays I am 20 years old. I'm an only child on my 2 parents' side. My life was developed in Santiago but for various communes since I changed many times of home, as I live with my mom, with her were the house changes, a total of 9 changes. I live alone with my mom since my parents separated when I was one year old, but with my father I have an excellent relationship, even between them, they are very good friends.

 

Now regarding my parents, my mom's name is Raquel, she currently works as a floral therapist and as a cosmetologist, and my dad´s name is Gabriel, he works installing life lines hanging from a harness.

 

As for me, I like to dance, sing, draw, actually things that are always linked to art. I studying visual arts for 6 years since I did 2 years of pre-basic and I am also filling a dance academy.

 

For now this is my life and this is my family.

  My favorite piece of technological is the light ring because it is a tool for work and studies. I use it to illuminate my work area to draw, paint, make-up, to take photographs or record videos. This tool helps me a lot to illuminate my work area since natural sunlight is very scarce in my home, so i need a reinforcement to have a better vision of colors and shapes. I position it in the place I want and choose what tone of light I will use since it has 3 types, the warm, the cold and the medium depending on what you need The best thing is that it has a cell phone holder, which helps me record if I need the light and the cell at the same time I highly recommend this because it can be used for different contexts. Good lighting is essential for painting, makeup and taking very good photographs.

Who is a person/expert on your field that you admire?

 One of the people that I admire the most for his art is Guillermo Lorca Garcia Huidobro. From Santiago, Chile he begins his artistic studies at the age of 16 with the Chilean painter Sergio Montero. In the year 2002 he participated in a collective exhibition at the "Salon Nacional de Bellas artes". It was after the exhibition that he began to study Visual Arts at the "pontificia universidad católica de Chile", just to be soon left because of the search for his own personal way of learning arts.  Lorca's paintings are figurative and baroque in style and sometimes even uses the original techniques of the great masters, such as Velazquez, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Lucian Freud, Gottfried. I wish I could travel to the beginning of time and be able to see in first person how was the creation of everything, perhaps more than a specific moment would be to see the process of progress of life itself. See the first beings that grew and developed on the planet, their interactions, the functioning of everything, etc. I wish I could travel to the past because it is an instance where everything that comes up will be new and exciting, where things are just being known, but at the point where the human managed to become aware of his actions, it was that everything started to be a disaster.
